650mL bottle, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma doesn't smell great, revealing vanilla, oak, and I guess subtle tequila. Flavour has a lot of oak chips, alcohol and vanilla. I don't get any tequila. There's little or complexity, and lots of harsh alcohol and fumes. Not terrible, but it's puzzling what the hell they were aiming for here. Incompetent.

Good deep ruby body, slight brown hue, nice foam and good carbonation. Nice tangy raspberry aroma, subtle lime, saccharine. Flavour is a soft raspberry balanced by some grain, maybe soft lime. Full finish, grain lingers. I'm not detecting much pilsner in this but am enjoying it nonetheless.

473mL can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy hops, nice bitterness bite, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is crisp and biting, with grassy hops, crisp crackery malt, some straw, and a lingering bitterness. Crisp and biting, nicely structured.

nice light beige foam, deep clear brown body and visible carbonation. Smells of plasticky hops, sharp and slightly sweet, but no real red character is coming through. Flavour is deep and chewy caramel, soft biscuit, plenty of maltiness accented by some mellow hops. Good smoothness and lingering sugar. Straight ahead but well crafted.

650 ml bottle. Pours a copper color with light head. Aromas of jammy fruit, pineapple, resin, and sweet bready malts. Flavors of dank piney resin, marmalade, bitter pineapple and biscuity malts. Bitter finish. Nice.

650mL bottle, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Nose is full of chewy resinous hops, lots of caramel and some pine. Flavour is very bitter, with lots of resinous and piney hops, caramel malt, and immense bitterness on the finish. Bitter as hell but tastefully so. Good stuff.

Golden to copper colour, with slight haze; medium sized compact head. It seems lighter coloured than the regular Numbskull, and this is good news. The hop profile is rather old school, with some resins and some orange peel; the malt is good, it's lightly sweet, a bit bready, light toast, caramel, fudge, not a crispy modern IIPA, but it's in the right direction; the bitterness is the Achille's heel of this beer, as it comes through really pithy. Strangely this beer took many weeks to be released in Vancouver, but I don't think that's the problem. Nicely conceived, but with a medium flaw in the bitterness delivery.

650 ml bottle. Pours a mahogany colour with moderate head. Aromas of fruity tequila, fruit gummies, and sweet malts. Flavors of Christmas cake, more fruity tequila, sweet toffee, grass, green oak and bitter toasted malts. Nice carbonation. A bit hot, but neat.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Black with tan head. Light roast malt with mild chocolate and vanilla notes. Nothing new, but fine for what it is.
