Description
Abbie Logozzi, landlady of the Goodmanham Arms, started brewing in 2012 in outbuildings behind the pub. The ex-Goodmanham Brewery buildings were purchased and a five-barrel plant installed. The brewery name comes from the adjacent 12th century All Hallows Church. Local legendary characters are used in the naming of some of the beers. Brews are supplied to the pub and some free trade. Brewing is currently suspended.

Bottle shared at chriso’s. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a slight, bubbly head. Doughy malts in the nose, some ripe citrus. Light sweet flavor with mellow chili spice, doughy pale bread, low bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly sweet on the finish, some heat in the throat, red chili, pale bread. The pepper isn’t too intense, which is nice. So so.

Keg at the Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is fruity toffee, resin, malt. The flavour is medium bitter light sour with a watery vinous palate and a long bitter finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation.
