Bottle. Unclear golden body with a small white head. Aroma has pale malt and honey with a floral touch. The flavor is unusually and a bit difficult to place. There is malt and a hint of sweet honey, some kind of unidentified spices and a hint of flowers, its also some kind of slightly harsh bitterness that I didn't like in the start but somehow the whole beer starts to grow a bit on my while drinking. It’s not a great beer or very special in any way, but it’s unusually, rather interesting and totally drinkable. Not a beer I would judge after a few sips from a sample glass, I needed the whole bottle to get an imprerssion and I’m still a bit unsure about it.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a small, fading white head. Aroma is light general fruity with a hint of yogurt. Flavor is mild pale malt, quite soft, some fruit in general, minerals and slightly acidic. Medium body and average aftertaste. Decent but not a hit.

Bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a light white head. Rather mild aroma, fruity, floral and light spicy with some freshly cut grass. Flavor is refreshing with pale malt, grassy bitterness, almost a bit like tasting hop pellets and floral. Medium body and distinct bitter aftertaste. Decent, a bit plain and rather green beer.

Bottle from Gulating Stavanger. Slightly unclear golden body with a nice, dense white head. Nice aroma with mild pale malt and fruity hops. Flavor is smooth pale malt, refreshing fruity, grapefruit and pleasant bitterness. A bit thin bodied with average aftertaste. Nice and easy APA.

Bottle #92 from Gulating , Stavanger. Unclear golden body with a medium sized white head. Mild aroma with some pale malt, grain and general fruitiness. Flavor is like a rather standard classic pilsner, a bit on the sweet side, moderate bitterness and a bit thin bodied. I think this has improved a bit from previous batches, quite decent standard pilsner, clean and easy drinkable, still not much going on but no faults.

Notater fra en hyggelig kveld på Mi2 Cardinal. Vi som vanlig startet med de nye fatølene, og denne nye fra Jåttå var kveldens andre: klar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Mild aroma, ikke på langt nær så raus som angivelig var meningen, men smaken overbeviste med urter, barskog og noen florale innslag. den tørre avslutningen bidrar til at den er både frisk og lettdrikkelig. En god pøseøl for den lyse årstid.

0,33 boks fra Vaaland 1889, stødig overbrakt av Brynes Spedisjon&Øl, hjemme mens jeg lager søndagsmiddagen: lett uklar gylden med højt fluffy skum som varer. Fin aroma og behagelig, sursyrlig smak med de forventede pasjonsfrukter i en slank maltkropp. Litt lime og citron muligens, men det skjer egentlig ikke så mye her.

Can. A lightly hazy brown beer with a small, dense beige head. The aroma has maltyness dominating, chocolate, nuts and some coffee grit. Hints of dark dried fruit. It's medium bodied and semi-dry on the palate, with a gentle bitterness. Toffee, caramel, dark dried fruit and some coffee in the flavor. Medium length finish. Quite nutty all the way. A rather dull one, but I guess it's better suited for a meal of season. 241226
