0,2l from tap at HurryCurry, Vomp. Yellow lightly hazy color, small white head. Smells bread, ripe apples, tobacco, spices, earthy. Medium body, soft carbonation. Tastes grainy, earthy, bready, tobacco, peppery, light herbs. Finishes lightly bitter with notes of bready, earthy and tobacco notes. Good stuff overall

Pours black indeed. Creamy, off white, stable head. Smell is rather roasty, sharp, médium low to medium intensity. Taste is sharp, tad tart, lactic acid ( mildly) very roasty, ashy. Burnt. Thin bodied. Médium high to high Carbo. Pretty sure the lactic acid shouldn't be there....

Pours rather unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is intense banana, wheat, phenols are sharp and towards to 'clinical' yet not overly intense, somehow. Taste is full, relatively bitter, for the style. Banana, mild wheat. Bit 'fleshy' almost. Phenolic features are more hidden, no clinical feel here. Mild DMS, but still acceptable ( though not allowed in the style, it's still drinkable)

Pours unclear, amberblonde. rather creamy, average sized, yet relatively stable white head. Smell is full on malty, very natural, caramelly, bready, clean fermentation profile, and little traces of (noble?) hops. Taste is smooth, natural, touch of what almost is a sourness ( NOT sour, just very dry, and the absence of sweetness makes the beer apear to be 'sour' ) , full on ambermaltyness. Maybe a tad to dry, and a bit harsh in it's drink, perhaps fermented a bit to warm ? Anyway, the malty character is really nice, the hops are very absent in the taste. I suspect this beer might suffer from 'a less good batch' , perhaps, but one can tell the base recipe is very nice, and - if they fix the 'harshness' , and overly dry features , this might actually be quita a catch in it's genre.

33cl bottle. A minimal hazy light amber beer with a off-white head. Aroma of dry caramelized malt and biscuit. Taste of caramelized dry malt, mild red fruits, low bitterness, medium carbonation.
