[ As Boss Bronze ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, tart, caramel, sweet malt, sour, berries. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average duration, tart berry, malty, caramel. Cask gravity at the 2016 Watford beer festival 4/11/2016. A black dark brown coloured pour with a lasting dark tan head. Aroma dark choc, burnt chocolate sponge cake, dried fruit. Flavour is composed of tangy woody boozy Bourbon, chocolate, cocoa, black malts, Warming alcohol. Tangy berry. Palate is semi sweet chewy, decent cask condition, oily. Lingering bitter liquorice and hint of wood. Surprisingly complex.

Cask at GBBF’16, day three, 11/08/16. Black with a light tan cap. Nose is roast malts, light spice, charr, dark toffee. Taste comprises liquorice, chocolate, roast malt, aniseed, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough stout.
