We are Boss Brewing, a multi-award-winning craft beer brewery from Swansea, South Wales. Our main boss is a woman; we’re one of the few female owned and led breweries in the UK.

330ml bottle. Pours hazy dark orange with a large head. Aroma is dark fruits and caramel. Taste has light hops to start and a boiled sweet caramel finish.

330ml bottle. Pours dull gold with a small head. Aroma is cooked veg, icing sugar and skunked hops. Taste has sweet straw malt. Some skunk and veg. Neckable.

Bottle from friends holidaying in south Wales. Golden colour with a white head. Berry and tropical aroma and taste. Sweet with a light bitter finish.

[ As Boss Bronze ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, tart, caramel, sweet malt, sour, berries. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average duration, tart berry, malty, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151007] 5-3-5-3-8

Cask gravity at the 2016 Watford beer festival 4/11/2016. A black dark brown coloured pour with a lasting dark tan head. Aroma dark choc, burnt chocolate sponge cake, dried fruit. Flavour is composed of tangy woody boozy Bourbon, chocolate, cocoa, black malts, Warming alcohol. Tangy berry. Palate is semi sweet chewy, decent cask condition, oily. Lingering bitter liquorice and hint of wood. Surprisingly complex.

Cask at GBBF’16, day three, 11/08/16. Black with a light tan cap. Nose is roast malts, light spice, charr, dark toffee. Taste comprises liquorice, chocolate, roast malt, aniseed, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough stout.
