Has a sweet and sour cocktail mixer aroma and flavor with a subtle whiskey taste to the finish. Delicious sour ale.

Bottle from Tavour Slightly hazy deep straw color with a thin white head, Huge lemony tartness on the nose and in the flavor with a fair amount of earthy fruity funk. Faint vinous grape notes round this out nicely. Really nice puckerfest.

Pours a nice clear amber from a bottle, with a ring of white foam. I have a cold, so I passed the glass around to see what people thought it smelled like. No one said it smelled like anything at all, which I guess means it doesn't smell bad. Flavor is bready, wheat, also dough. Lightly sweet but on the finish has a hint of crisp dryness, not cloying. Good beer.

Pours a slightly hazy dark amber from a bottle. Tart vinegar aroma followed by a slight cheese funk in the mouth. A bit of nail polish remover? Very tart but with a hiding sweetness. Pretty good beer.

Red color and great hop aroma, immediate bitter hop flavor mellowed out by subtle malty sweet at the end

Dark brown color with thick tan head. Interesting flavor combination, like a sweetened coffee at the start that goes immediately to a sour finish

opaque pale copper color, mild earthy hop aroma and medium bitter hop flavor with a cracker taste at the end. Bitterness does not linger in the aftertaste.

2019 - completely different than previous version. This one is 5.5% alcohol. Flavor is intensely sour with slight fruit sweetness underneath and a funky, barnyard finish. 2018 - hits with a combination of sweet and sour, opaque straw color. For 11% alcohol it does not have a strong alcohol flavor.

Strong alcohol flavor and a hint of sweet malty flavor. Tastes true to the Belgian Tripel style.
