(Keg at William K Kurvi, 20150313) The beer poured deep orange and cloudy. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were spiciness, grass, herbalness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was herbal and bitter. A harsh hoppy pale ale.

33cl bottle @ Kitty’s. Deep amber color, thin white head. Caramel lurking, fruity, dark, inviting, hoppy, musty aroma. Wow. Seldom do you get this much out of the aroma only. Can’t stop sniffing it. Flavor has caramel, citrus, malt, hops. Awesome. This beer has the balance, the bitterness, the flavor, all. Very enjoyable. Nutty aftertaste.

Tap at St. Michael, Oulu. Colour is slightly cloudy light orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, some citrus, some grape, hops and malts. Sorry but this is very boring.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ First Official Randers Tasting ] by HenrikSoegaard, at HenrikSoegaard house, Randers, Denmark. [ As Edge Brewing Hoptimista IPA ].Clear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, pine, earthy, orange - citrus, woody hops. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, malt sweet, riped fruit, orange, pine, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150124]

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours clear pale gold, thick white head. Aromas are floral and lemon pledge. Taste is light lemon sherbet, light bitter. A little thin.

Draught @ Gallows Bird. Aroma is somewhat heavy with fruity hops and fruit juice - also some strawberries. Flavour has fruity hops, some minerals, pineapple juice and some citrus. Refreshing and nice.
