On tap at mad mex. Hazy pale. Clean hop nose. first taste reminds me of a rude hoppy inner tube. A little bit of diesel light in there too Whew, bitter is an understatement. Long nasty palate wrecking finish. This terribly on style IPA is way to much for my girlie lager loving taste buds.

Finally, after all the IPA I've been pummeled with over the years, a great non IPA beer that I can really enjoy. Mind you, I don't like IPA but I tick them when I get a chance. But now I unexpectedly get a great beer of one of my favorite style and it is well made to boot! GH has really surprised me here. On tap it pours beautiful dark pink purple, it looks so appetizing. And the nose? It smells quite yummy, with its olfactory of sweet mild berry fruit perfume. You know many so called wild beers have that odd off farmy smell but this one does not. First taste is oh so good; perfect blend of fruit and tartness makes want to never stop drinking it. I am so glad I got a big glass of this, I think its 24 oz. The co2 level combined with the tartness is a dream! YUMYY YUMMY! Man, this is the best beer I've had in a while, it is sooooo goood. I apologize for the rave, but IPAs have ruined me and this is such an alternative, I'm loving it. One last thing; many so called wild brews have a bit of a processed feel and taste about them, thi does not. Grist house, I need to try more of your wild brews.

Tap at mad mex, yes another terribly on style IPA out there. There must be a trillion beers out there that are IPA, I'm guessing they make the same thing quite often but give them a different name all for the gullibility of their drinkers. This one is cloudy pale with a mechanical hop taste. I feel like I'm chewing on a real fresh rubber inner tube. Nasty nellie, terribly on style and rude. Nearly flat, cannot say IPAs are refreshing, blah.
