16oz can pours a dark, rootbeer brown with some khaki head. Nose has grist, caramel, brown sugar, some black tea, earthy too. Flavor is quite nice and exactly what an English mild should be, malty and very tannic, black tea, dried leaves, some tree bark. There is some cookie and a little almond, but the malt and grist are more of the earthy variety. Finishes dry with some bitterness. Lovely. Easy drinker too. 7 4 7 4 14
