Description
We were born in 2015 to brew the beers we wanted to drink, and we always kept focused on quality. We settled our brewery in Lisbon’s Graça neighbourhood and from there we started our mission to change beer consumption in Portugal.

We believe we’ve been achieving it daily and we’ll keep doing it. We brewed a dozen of new beers, reached the entire country, managed to export abroad, and opened our own places in Lisbon.

The best part is that we are aware this is just the beginning.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (33B: Boal Madeira Wine / 26C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L0457 (BBF: OUT/2025). AROMA: medium-high Madeira followed by medium-low notes of oranges, clove-like and low wood and vanillin. medium-low peppery alcohol notes. APPEARANCE: light amber color and clear. medium-low moussy beige head with average retention. lace formation. TASTE: initial medium Madeira wine notes with a citrusy character, followed by medium-low toffee-like malt background, all with a sweet character evolving into a dry finish supported by medium bitterness. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body with medium-low to low carbonation. slight astringency and moderate alcoholic warmth. OVERALL: a very interesting blend of a Belgian Tripel and Madeira wine, although the flavour seems more unidimensional than the aroma.
