In 2000, Nico Freccia and Shaun O’Sullivan founded the 21st Amendment Brewery in San Francisco’s historic South Park neighborhood. The popular brewpub is now at the heart of the new city center, just south of the financial district and only two blocks from the San Francisco Giants baseball park. In addition to rotating taps of multiple award-winning hand-crafted house beers.

Draft. Amber beer with a whitish head. Watermelon, wheat, light malt aroma. Whtea, watermelon rind aroma (more rind than watermelon). medium body. Wheat, slight fruit lingering with the rind. Alcohol slightly noticeable and adds a bit of warming.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a nice off-white head. Nice summer fruit and citrus aroma. Summer fruit, grapefruit, pine flavor with a bit of earthiness and twigginess in the background. Medium body. Lingering grapefruit (a bit of rind) with other fruits and some dust. Overall alittle green and twiggy like many 3IPAs suffer from.

Draft at the Bistro’s 8th DIPA Fest; Nose of piney and citrsy hops (lots); Clear amber with a big off-white head; flavor has citrus, pine, light caramel with a lightly bitter hop finish! High alcohol completely covered; Pretty good new DIPA even with the hop shortage!

Draft at the Bistro’s DIPA Fest; Nose of floral hops and caramel; clear copper with a huge off-white head; flavor of hop bitterness, caramel, and light caramel.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear ruby, minimal head. Perfumy nose with roasty malt underneath. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel, Some toffee and lots of resiny hops. Very bitter, almost inky, finish. Full flavoured but edgy.

Draught at the brewpub. Near black, minimal head. Roasty and very fruity. Light bodied with clean mouthfeel. There’s yellow plums and coffee as wel as molasses. Low-medium bitterness. A bit rough and almost cardboardy.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear dark ruby, small head. Distinct spicy nose with nutmeg, chocolate and spruce. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Lightly roasty and richly spicy with orangey notes. Low-medium bitterness. Like most beers from this brewer the flavours are really good, but the mouthfeel is too clean and hard.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear amber, minimal head. Rich citric lychee aroma. Swetish and light bodied with clean hard mouthfeel. The lovely seemless is in sharp contrast to the hard, primitive malt character. There’s notes of metal in a finish with medium bitterness.

Draught at the brewpub. Pale golden brief head. aroma of burnt corn. Sweet and light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Creamy with notes of nuts, vanilla and irange. Low bitterness. A biy sharp in the mouth to be really refreshing.

Can at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007
Hazy golden color. Very nice aroma, hops, buttery, creamy, perfumy, fruity. Good body structure, good malt and sweet caramel, very good hopping, resiny and fruity (apricots). Very good.
