Hmmm.. a beer with chocolate and vanilla, we are just missing strawberry for some Neapolitan. An imperial porter with two competing flavors sounds scary. Fortunately, this is not an imperial porter and its not really chocolate or vanilla. There is a little something or other artificial on the nose, lets say vanilate, or choonilla but the flavor is just your basic porter with some mineral qualities. Rather easy drinking and clean despite the misdemeanor name.

12oz bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is vanilla roast malts chocolate sweetness. Taste is more of the milk chocolate sweetness roast malts some vanilla and a little coffee.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear whitish yellow. Aromas of apples, light gin. Tastes of apples, champagne, light gin. Light body with a dry finish. Nice.
