12 oz. bottle purchased at Prost. I thought it was very odd to find a Pennsylvania brewery that I never heard of in a bottle show in New England. No bottle date was found so age is totally unknown. Hazy golden color with lasting head and retention. Aroma is bitter grapefruit and orange marmalade.

Flavor show weak floral and weak grapefruit hops. Orange marmalade in the center. Body is medium with a soapy mouthfeel. Bitterness is moderate to strong. But kind of bitter just for the sake of being bitter. Dry texture. It’s not a bad IPA but the age is suspect.

Tap bowsers. A fresh beery smell with a little volatile hint for the nose. Creamy head. Yes, a very clean tasting beer compared to many saisons. It does have a little bandaid in there bit overall its very civilized. Not overwhelming to the senses. A well made saison I’d say. Good co2 level as well. Some hints of lemon in there. Clean fresh saison fun fer sher. Not bad.

Bocktown. Pale lemon yellow. Smell is mild sweet apples. Fruity cider with an odd hint of ginger, unlike many ginger beers I’ve had. No burn or warming sensations. Not bad but that odd spice is a little bit of a distraction.

Draft at the source. Opaque brown color, thin tan head, see pic please. Aroma of sour chocolate. Taste is sort of a sweet and sour peppermint and chocolate kind of thing. Weird, but in a pleasant enough way.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. And another 4 oz since a drunken KBS’d DCLawyer in my presence hated it. Clear pale yellow. Aromas of light apple, light esters and champagne. Tastes of tart apples, light champagne. Light body with a dry finish. I enjoyed it, simple but refreshing after a long day of work.

Pale but lighter than the beer pictured here. Neutral aroma. Thin head but nice lacing. Seems like a fairly civilized beer at first. Lacks most of the rude IPA attributes so popular today. Yes, simply a good APA fer sure, I bet she’s even a real blond, heheh. Friendly easy and probably the best beer I had tonight. Yes, not bad!
