Strength of this version is 8.2%. complex aromas of old dry leather, dark malt, roast, a little molasses and a hint of funk. Flavors are slightly similar to nose, more subdued less complex adding in a little metallic. Fairly easy drinking beer.

In the can the aromas are mostly fresh grapefruit hops while in the glass it changes a little to grapefruit and some resin. Flavors are similar to nose, very slightly sweet at first and then increasing with balancing bitter and good carbonation. Great body and finish. Pretty good beer.

25/2/2021. Can from LowcostBeer.com. Pours cloudy/murky dark orange gold with a small white head. Aroma is dank, hoppy, tropical, bitter orange, citrus, grapefruit, bitter lemon, contrasting notes of caramel, sweet pineapple and resin. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Full bodied, creamy texture, very soft carbonation. Bitter fruit finish, with longer lasting sweet notes and a little boozy warmth. Very drinkable. Money well spent.

US Pint can (a pitiful 473 ml, compared to a proper Pint of 568 ml); BB 17th Jan 2021. Drank at home while having a Raclette on 13th Feb 2021, almost a full month out of date! Light haze to the golden pour, white affair on top. Pleasant hop nose with a citrus leaning, some light malty esters in the aroma too. Piny hop feel to the initial taste, then the citrus hoppiness kick in, all on a solid malt base. Nice beer!

2 month old pint can A: Clear medium gold with 1/2 of lasting thick white foam. S: Fresh citrusy scent. Orange, tangerine and pithy grapefruit. T: Tart and bitter citrus hops exactly like the nose but with pine and drying biscuit underneath balancing nicely. M: Smooth texture and crisp carbonation. Resinous but clean. O: Delicious balanced flavor, attractive clarity and nice mouthfeel. A very welcome west coast ale.

16oz can from Tavour. Medium golden, clear, small fizzy head. Gentle coffee aroma. More subtle coffee in the taste along with strong grainy, malty base. Smooth, slick. Really nice.
