From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Chocolate and roasted. Dry and roasted. Bitter and dark malty finish. Bitter and herbal far finish.

Bottle from the source. Hazy maroon amber color, thick beige ice cream cone head, see pic please. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, subtle coffee. Taste is earthy spiced coffee, sweet edge. Interesting, but doesn’t quite come together.

Refrigerated brown bottle poured into a glass. Hazy golden with ver small white head. Aroma is soft strawberry, light body, medium soft carbonation, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is salty, tart and soft strawberry. Nice beer.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a glass. Clear orange with small white head. Aroma is light honey & wheat, medium body, well carbonated, and good lacing. Taste is honey, grainy wheat, over ripe banana, and bread. The first session honey weizenbock?

Tap gizmo. A darker colored clear beer. Nice lacing. First taste is quite mild and easy, this stuff is quite civilized, just like the real thing form the old country. I like mild ales and I liked this. Decent co2 in this one. Fun. Has a slight leathery feel about it mixed perhaps with just a hint of peat, not sure. In the finish there is just a tad of ale bitterness present, but its never in yer face. Let me tell you, I saw in another site this was 8%....no way. After all, why would they tell you its a mild ale?

Tap gizmo. This was one very enjoyable beer. I know its listed as a cream ale but I thought it more of a golden or mild blond ale. Clear light pale color. Nice clean smelling nose. First impression is simply very good laid back beer. It’s friendly and probably will attract many macro lager lovers looking to convert to craft. Civilized. Seriously, this comes across like a big fresh original straub with all it’s haylike attributes. I liked this one. Could drink a growler of this. Nice job on this dudes. I’m not much of an IPA fan and in this time of everything IPA, this is one good refreshing change of pace.

Tap at gizmo. A very good example of a well made domestic hefe. Ever so slight sulfur mixed in with the banana aroma. Cloudy and almost muddy. Decent co2 sizzle. A mild laid back hefe feeling thang. Not too sure about the honey, but I almost do sense some in there. Yes, even without the honey forward, comes across rather well. I liked this. Nice and on style.

On cask at gizmo. Smell of peppery coffee. Flat of course since its on cask. Big coffee on coffee flavors for a somewhat pale brew. Not over the top but the pepper does shine thru. They told me my sample had sorachi ace hops and Sumatra coffee in it. Certainly an enjoyable coffee centered brew, even on cask, which I don’t particularly care for.

On tap at gizmo. Look, if you like IPA you got to try this, ignore my numbers, it’s on style for an IPA fer sure. Slight aroma of BO. Pale. not as mouth coating as most double ipa but its quite hoppy bitter none the less. At first I detect some co2 in there but as the session continues it begins to rototill my taste buds. Leaves a long bitter terribly on style finish.
