Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a milky yellow color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Just a concave little film of lace glossing along the glass.
The aroma opened up with a nice blend of floral to sweet citrusy tones covering some bitter citrusy rind portions. Sweet leafy freshness flows into some subtle lemongrass qualities. Light on the orange, but it’s there.
The flavor mixed the previously mentioned aromas together fully bittersweet with a thorough aftertaste of that mix. Rewardingly smooth citrusy/lemongrass sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionably smooth sort of feel sliding over my tongue. Carbonated properly. ABV felt spot on as well.
Overall, for all of those out there disparaging this new craze of IPA, just remember when you first poured out Heady Topper. Yes, that’s right, don’t knock the look until you tasted and smelled this one.

The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with no head but a nice amount of filmy lace clinging to the sides of the glass.
The aroma started off with a thick big blend of roasted dark malts flowing into a nice resinous/piney hoppiness and then some light citrus bitterness.
The flavor blended well between the sweet and roast and then letting the bitter pineyness pounce in for great balance. Semi-sticky resinous to roasty aftertaste. Quick dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sipping quality about it. Good composure with the ABV feels good, doesn’t slide or grip too extraneously.
Overall, best beer I had today. Definitely would love having more of this.

The appearance was a dark brown color with no head but some light filmy speckled lace.
The aroma seemed to start off with the coffee initially. And then the cinnamon portion comes across for a nice balance. Vanilla and lactose compliments underneath, but that \"cereal\" part, well, seems a bit non-existent.
The flavor blended well between the cinnamon, coffee, and some dark malts. Sweet to spicy edged out semi-sticky chocolate malt flowing into the aftertaste and riding into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a good bunched up sticky feel on my tongue, almost cloying, but not there. Cinnamon helps to alleviate and leave a slight spicy edge on my tongue.
Overall, some of my words may sound like I’m knocking this beer, but it really turned out well for me. I just didn’t get any \"cereal\" tones in it.

The appearance was a muddled sort of grapefruit pulpy pink color. No head, but hey bar pour, I’m not worried.
The aroma seemed to have a hard time opening up. But eventually, had some sweet apricot and some boysenberry. Slight orange juicy bitterness underneath.
The flavor started off with a juicy bitterness, sharply hits the boysenberry adequately. Apricot cuts in to try and balance. Dry bitter juicy aftertaste. Sharply cuts the finish too.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, good AIPA but I don’t think this is my favorite of the series.

Poured into a snifter, the appearance was a pure dark black color with a thin little tan head that quickly dissipates to leave just a rim of lace around the glass.
The aroma started off with some bitter dark chocolate nibs, fresh dry roasted woodiness (the chicory), some vanilla and then the coconut (the least amount).
The flavor leads with a roastiness of the chicory wood with the dark chocolate nibs. Some milk chocolate comes in on the flavor. Quick dry semi-roasty aftertaste to hit the finish dryly and somewhat roasty.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a good sipping quality coming from the dryness of the chicory causing my reaction to really ease up. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, nice imperial stout by Burlington, well worthy of having again. And looking forward to the rest of this series.

Tall boy can 3 finger bubbly solid white head. Smells like a grapes tropical island. Very thin. Gose, papaya and salt. Tart finish. Light. Wheat body. Thin finish. No aweetness. Pretty refreshing.

Canned, from Healthy Living, South Burlington. Murky yellow, brief creamy head. Huge perfumy nose with passionfruit, mango and vitamin-C pills. Very sweet with full body and viscous mouthfeel. Tropical fruit smoothie with some oat porridge. Slight saccharine burn in a mid bitter finish.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a beautiful semi-dark pink color with a quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head. Sly sticky ringed lace.
The aroma starts off with sweet sticky passion fruit, up front and bold and then the prickly pear. Then some notes of freshly cut grass, lemon pulpy to juicy sweet to bitter. Light strawberries at the end.
The flavor yields to the passion fruit sweetness initially. Crisp balanced citrus to the passion fruit and prickly pear, sly bitterness. Dry sticky fruity aftertaste comes across very nice punching a quick sweet to bitter finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Bitterness hits like a good AIPA.
Overall, nicely done AIPA with some BBC creativity.
