Black with a beige head. Aroma full of espresso beans and dark chocolate with a touch of red currant. Taste is roasted bitter with sweet undertones. Faint tartness. Lingering roast. Medium bodied, mild carbonation, creamy. Pleasant. Coffee intensive. This will probably keep me awake tonight.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown to black color with a one and a half fingers of khaki foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: big sweet oatmeal, roasted coffee tones, light notes of sweet coffee, seems like a ton of milk chocolate was added to this, some dark chocolate
Flavor: takes the prior noted aromas to boot a fine sweet to roasty quality; finishes sweet with the coffee and oatmeal
Texture: medium bodied, leaning to being a sipper; great smoothness, the roastiness is mostly tame along the tongue, maybe-ish, hmmmm...maybe an ever so slight touch of roasty grip
Overall: a very nicely done impy oatmeal stout worthy of coming back to.

Can to tulip.
Appearance noted in the picture.
Aroma: key lime sweet and tart vibes, kumquat sweet and tangy vibes, lacto/yogurty tones in the secondary, sour-ed wheaty qualities, lighter whiffs of lemon and lemon rind further down in there
Flavor: harnesses a great blend of the sour, tart, and tangy to the sweet and semi-savory lightness from the saltiness; mild finish of key limes, kumquats and salt
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable, some tangy to wheaty and lacto-ish features bumps noticeably on the tongue - nothing bad just noticeable and somewhat expected, subtle wheaty kick as I expected it to
Overall: who knew Burlington could do an actual true to style gose and nuance it with some key limes and kumquats. I'd return to this in Summer, not exactly sure why I'm having it now.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: great looking hazy yellowed orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate and once it did some light lace clung to the glass.
Aroma: nice grapefruity to lime to passion fruit with lemon peel and a light clean malt base
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together fairly nice to a juicy bittersweetness; sly finish of grapefruity to passion fruit and lemon peel vibes
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; fair enough of smoothness along the tongue and pretty low hop bitterness
Overall: I'd say a pretty nicely done NEDIPA I could very well return to.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a quickly dissolving foamy head, light lace but that seemed to trickle off pretty quick
Aroma: thick fudgey-like milk chocolate, dark chocolate, sweet cream, vanilla and doughy-like/pastry/cookie batter tones
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a decadent fudgey and doughy sweet quality, finishes very cookie/doughy-like and super chocolatey
Texture: medium to full bodied, I see this as a sipper, extremely smooth along the tongue
Overall: pure decadence in a glass, check with your doctor to see if you got diabetes after drinking this thing.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: murky cardboard orange/wood color with a one finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: floral hoppiness, sweet grassy hoppiness and a nice clean malt
Flavor: blends the hops to the malts fairly nicely, light finish of the floral hops
Texture: medium bodied, decent enough sipper, fairly low carb, some smoothness but a touch of hop assertiveness
Overall: pretty good for what it was, might come back to this one.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt orange haziness with a two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light messy lace
Aroma: pine, orange & papaya hop scents, light clean malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas bittersweetly then accompanies the same sort of finish
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper, fairly smooth along the tongue, very low bitterness, appropriate low carb
Overall: pretty nicely done NEIPA I would bang again.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: muddy orange color with a two finger white foamy head that dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: orange zest to floral hoppiness up front with a clean malt backbone
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet tone, starts becoming a touch more bitter with more sips and ends up staying that way til the end of consumption, finishes with a zesty orange to floral tone
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, low carb, semi-smooth but also some hop burn
Overall: best thing about this beer is the aroma, but the rest of it isn't bad just needs some tweaking.

Review from notes.
On tap at the brewery.
Appearance: dark amber color with a thin cap of a little white semi-foamy head which slid off to leave some light lace
Aroma: bitter malts, toasted nuts, light caramel/toffee malts, earthy to grassy hops, light diacetyl
Flavor: blends those aromas together semi-sweetly, finishes malty
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, very smooth
Overall: it's a simple beer, not many will understand and the kids these days will be clueless about this beer. But I get it and don't mind this. Oh and pass the fish n' chips for this beer, please.
