750 ml bottle thanks to Adam C. Deep brown color, thin white head. Aroma is dehydrated peanut butter, and mild roasted malt.

The flavor is chalky peanut butter, weak roast, thin mouthfeel. Also has a strange off note that I can’t place. Massive dehydrated peanut butter. Meh.

Poured from bottle thanks AdamChandler brown pour with a beige head and minimal lacing. Aromas of spent coffee chocolate and an off aroma. Taste is light bitterness and chocolate.

Tap at Arvads, Waterbury. Colour is dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, dark chocolate, vanilla and roasted malts. Very nice porter.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a slim white little head that dissipated quickly leaving no lacing.
The smell had robust coffee beans moving in under a slight cocoa bean almost espresso-like aroma. Vanilla spreads out underneath nicely.
The taste pulled together the aromas really nice. Moves dry with a slight sweet stickiness in the aftertaste and runs into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body. Robust feels move along my tongue. Light bitterness subjects my tongue appropriately.
Overall, its a nice American porter that I would have again.

This was poured into a tulip. Brewed in November 2015.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipated. Remnants of some stringy lacing run along the sides of the glass.
The smell had some grapes, pears, grapefruit, light sweet apples, light grass, light earthiness with somewhat rustic mustiness to it.
The taste seems to be a bit off as it comes off pretty dry and seems to not have as much of the grapefruit, pears and apples. Not exactly sure where they went, but the rest of the aroma appears and gives off a quick dry sweet and semi-vinous aftertaste.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with dry sipping quality about it. Carbonation runs fairly light allowing a dry sharp edge hitting my tongue.
Overall, as a Belgian styled golden ale, well, it looks like one and smells like one but the flavor and the feel seem to not come together to create the beer I think Burlington was trying for. Nice to try, but for the price, I wouldn’t come back to this. Try again, Burlington.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a light bronzed to burnt red almost brown color. A thin finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Lacing was messy and somewhat stringy.
The smell started off with toast, sweet apples, figs, light vanilla, sweet sticky pear, light toffee, light cocoa.
The taste was moderately sticky sweet with a subtle gracing of the bitterness invading and sliding into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a dare-I-say sessionable aspect to it. Uh...yeah for an English Barleywine, I’m not getting enough body on this one.
Overall, well, the taste and the aroma is there, but the mouthfeel/palate/body, yeah, about that, hmmm....come on Burlington, you can do better, guys (needs more \"beef\" on that body, guys, just saying).

Yellowish orange. Smells like a pine cone but it’s a very weak aroma. Is there coffee in there? Dense sweetness with a lot of unfermented malts. Almost a corn and carrot vegetable taste

Very cloudy brown murky beer. Aroma is interesting. Good bitterness with this malty undertone. Good sharp mouthfeel. Malt and earthy almost mulch taste with pine and bark. Very earthy.

Very cloudy. Looks like lemon juice with a solid white head. Smells like pineapple, lemon and grapefruit with a touch of wheat. The taste is too lemon rind and orange rind forward. Acidic with this intense orange skin. Light and certainly a drinkable beer but the malt and hops don’t really play along
