Can pour. Appearance is opaque light yellow (grapefruit juice) with no discernible sparkle, a few white floaties and yeast tubes at the bottom of the glass, finger-width foamy white head with poor retention and fair leggy lacing. Aroma is strong grapefruit and citrus. Taste is nice mix of strong grapefruit, citrus and pineapple rind, absolute mildest hint of herb. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a nice mix of classic hops (this one had Summit vs. Chinook) with a taste that was likely all the rage 5 years ago but holds up well.

16oz can pours a pulpy lemon yellow with some sudsy, white head. Nose has lemon balm, orange, herbs, honey, oats. Flavor is nice, pithy and herbal, malt, honey, a little lemon soda. Full bodied, bitter finish. A foot in two worlds.

Soft carbonation, mild lactic sourness that is balanced by a steady amount of guava purΓ©e. This certainly is the more balanced then the other variants of Charms and Hexes. A lot of fruit.

16 oz. can. Deep ruby color. Typical kettle sour ale. Mild tart blackberries and some yogurt. Sour cream of wheat. Pretty average overall. I may have liked the Blood Orange Charms & Hex a tad more.
