Concord Craft Brewing Company is a small batch craft brewery with a retail beer store, where beer enthusiasts can walk in and sample the current beers on tap, take a brewery tour, or take a look at the cool beer gear in our store. Our beers may be purchased in a variety of shapes and sizes in our brewery store, at a capital area bar or restaurant, and at selected retail stores. Our location sits among restaurants and shops in the newly renovated, historic downtown district of Concord in the former Merrimack Farmers Exchange building that houses our 15-barrel, steam-powered brewery.
We started Concord Craft Brewing to bring great beer to the people of New Hampshire’s Capital City. We use only the best all natural ingredients and brew it right in downtown Concord. We deliver our beer fresh to Concord’s best restaurants and bars. It costs more and takes a little longer to use the best ingredients and pack each pint with flavor, but we think you will taste the difference. That’s LOCAL FLAVOR.
We brew a range of beer styles, but in every case we aim to deliver a full, well-balanced, clean, fresh flavor for your enjoyment. We think it is OK for lighter beers to have a little more flavor and bigger, darker beers to be bold, but we always aim for balance. All of our beer styles will be on tap fresh at our beer store and tasting room, while select styles will be served fresh at your local capital area restaurants and bars.
Can from The Packie Pours a mostly clear light golden color with a thin tightly bubbled white head. Bready crackery pilsner maltiness with a floral earthy hop aroma and flavor to counter.
16 oz. can. Date of can: 01/08/20. Aroma shows sweet grain, toasted bread, maybe apple. Flavor is mostly sweet and reflection of the aroma. Simple malt driven ale but pretty good.
4 oz. draft. The appearance is pitch black. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, weak chocolate. Taste is a roasted, burnt sweet sugar. Palate is light bodied with creamy texture. A well made milk stout even if a tad thin.
4 oz. draft. The appearance is clear gold. Oh my God, a IPA that is clear! Flavor shows mild pine, subtle citrus, some balance of malt and bitterness. Has the malty sweetness, caramel, and toffee that is standard of the British Crystal Malt. Throwback IPA of yester year. Kind of like it because nobody is brewing a IPA like this in New England.
4 ounce draft. A near clear Amber appearance. Aroma as tall coffee, crackers, and maybe honey. Flavor is pretty much a standard amber ale. Well-made nothing wrong with it, just a standard brew pub amber.
4 oz. draft. The appearance is clear orange type color. Aroma was very light maple and toasted malt. The flavor had the earthy malt of a Oktoberfest. Finishes on light lingering maple. Simple brew but tasty.
Bottle from the source enjoyed at home. Deep black in color with a good sized tan head that persists. Rich roasty chocolate and bready sugary maltiness. Light bourbon and a faint tart cherry lactic note. Pretty decent stout but could have used a bit more of the barrel or bourbon to come through.
Sample at the source, I was thinking about getting a 4 pack to go, glad I didn't. Hazy murky lemon yellow in color with a thin white head that shows moderate retention. 10.4% and its quite noticeable. warming alcohol and paint thinner. Earthy pine tropical and citrus underneath a layer of popcorn and butterscotch. Happy anniversary but wow this beer needs some work.
This was listed as Wayfarer coffee stout, I think its the same beer. On tap at the source. Dark brown bordering on black with a thin tan head. Huge coffee aroma and flavor. Light stout underneath. Nice stout flavored coffee.
Tap at the source. Dark brown with faint ruby at the edges and a creamy off white head that persists. Earthy light roast and chocolate with hints of bread and light pitted fruits. Pretty stand up Porter.
