Description
603 Brewery was founded in 2012 by long time college friends. As home brewers, who met while studying engineering, they set out to design high quality, hand crafted beers. As demand for the beers increased, the vision to launch a microbrewery was developed. With a focus on quality and versatility, our hand crafted beer is brewed using the finest ingredients in small batches.

5 oz. Aroma has a very non-descriptive fruit note. Maybe mango maybe passionfruit. Flavor is mostly fruits. Similar to mango, peach, passionfruit. Nothing really stands out, but it does taste good. Hidden alcohol. Much better than I normally get from 603.

50cl bottle pours a cola brown. Nose has chewy grain, booze, barrel is nice though. Toasty. Barrel on the tongue, malt and booze. Not much dark fruit. Solid and sweet.

5 oz. Draft. Aroma has white grape, hay, citrus. Flavor is a nice rendition of the aroma. I am normally not a huhe fan of this brewer m. However, even they can’t dumb down Nelson Sauvin. Tasty.

16 oz can. Aroma of mild vanilla and some coffee. Flavor is decent. Coffee, vanilla, and a mild roasted backbone. Body is acceptable for the gravity. I could do without the lactose. Slightly better then extremely average beer 603 normally brews.

5 oz draft. Aroma is vanilla, baked bread and peach. Flavor follows. This has zero tartness. Pretty sweet but not cloying. Really just ok.

Bottle at DC Ratebeer share. Poured a very thick, dark cola color with a tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, rye, some vanilla and wood. Flavor was pleasant malty rye, light spice.

2022 release. Aroma is cocoa, coffee, soft, whiskey. The flavor is decent. All the correct flavors for what they were going for. The problem that I have with this and all the others in the series that I tried is the ridiculously thin body. Not top tier.

On tap at Cask and Vine Lightly hazy dark golden color with a thin wispy off white head that dissipates quickly. Bready toasty light caramel maltiness off set with citrus pine fruit and ethanol.
