It smells like a gummy bear and it tastes like a gummy bear. But unfortunately it’s ridiculously sweet and fake. Artificial lemon and cherry. 15 minutes later I can still taste the artificial sour on my tongue. Yikes!

Can from the Packie Lightly hazy orange lemon color with a decent sized but short lived bubbly white head. Lemon and orange aroma and flavor with gritty bready maltiness and light astringency. Not bad.

Can from the Packie Solid black in color with a stingy tan head that dissipates almost instantly. Fudgey chocolate maltiness with a hint of tannin and a moderate cherry lactic presence. Not to bad.

oz. draft. Aroma shows A nice mixture of cinnamon, maple, and roast. Initial flavor is a blast of cinnamon followed by lasting maple. Body is not as full as you find in the style but the ABV is well hidden. Pretty decent

The Can pour from The Beer Store, Nashua. Appearance is opaque light brown-dark yellow with no sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with fair retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is pineapple, whiff of herb, bread. Taste is mild herb, sweet tangerine, pineapple rind. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and dry finish with lingering bitterness and yeast. Overall, nice look and feel. Aroma and taste could be a bit bolder.

Can from the Packie. Pours a solid black with a huge frothy tan head that takes forever to recede. Rich roasty sweet chocolate on the nose. Cinnamon flavor. Somewhat over carbonated with light metallic notes. Smells great, seems like something could still be fermenting in the can.

On tap at the source. Hazy dark yellow in color with a decent size tightly bubbled white head that persists. Earthy lemony funky with some bready honey like maltiness. Not bad.

On tap at the source in a tulip. Dark brown bordering on black with a tan head that quickly dissipates. Huge sugar cinnamon aroma and flavor on top of a chocolatey roasty sweet stout. Pretty tasty beer but I couldn't drink a lot of it.

Taster pour on tap at the brewery. Appearance is cloudy yellow-light brown with no discernible sparkle, thin ring of off-white head with decent leggy lacing. Aroma is sweet fruit, dank. Taste is strong sweet guava. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, lively tangy carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, flavor is strong but one dimensional (though that appears to be what they were going for). Carbonation makes it more refreshing and lighter than it might be otherwise--doesn't feel like a standard DIPA. Good.

Taster pour on tap at the brewery. Appearance is cloudy, dirty yellow-light brown with no discernible sparkle, light foamy ring of off-white head with nice leggy lacing. Aroma is grainy, herbal with a mild limey citrus. Taste is tangy citrus, herb, cracker. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation and tangy finish as taste. Overall, quite good and a little bit off the beaten path.
