Poured from overcarbonated can overly foamy white head thanks TG. Aroma is mango over extracted mango and mango. Taste is bitter mango light hops with a lingering bitter finish. Not very good.

Fresh 16 oz. can purchased at Greg & Jane's. Side-by-Side comparison with the Vic Secret. Aroma as a apricot, Apple, and butterscotch. Yikes! The flavor shows a large amount of diacetyl. Was any krausening used after fermentation? Something with the yeast went wrong in this beer. Buttered popcorn, butterscotch and a harsher herbal hop in the finish. This is extremely unpleasant. The Single hop Vic Secret was really good. So needless to say, I am amazed at the inconsistent results.

Fresh 16 oz. can purchased at Greg & Jane's. Totally hazy appearance. Aroma is bold pineapple and a touch of danky pine. The flavor shows lots of pineapple with just a mild note of floral in the finish. Low bitterness with some juice. Good balance.

16 oz. can without a date found anyplace. Purchased at Greg & Janes. Orange / yellowish cloudy in color, white foamy head. Aroma is mango, tropical fruits, pale grains, maybe a grass hint. Flavor shows a light sweetness balanced by a ton of fruit. A plethora of fruits; mango, papaya, stone fruits.

Has medium body with a soft carbonation. All of the fruit is balanced by a gentle grassy bitterness. This maybe the best IPA from this brewery.

16 oz. can. I chatted with the Brewer about this about 7 months ago. From memory he used a red wine barrel to age it in. That would make sense for what I am drinking. The aroma is very mild chocolate and coffee with red grapes hints. The flavor is all sharp funky lactic acid and major pucker in the taste buds. Red wine and plenty of acid.

I can't taste any of the stout under the sour grapes. This is not a stout even if the name implies it. You have to really want a sharp sour to enjoy this. And yes, this was done on purpose.

Can purchased at Greg & Janes. A deep cloudy golden appearance. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, orange, and mild floral hints. I don't get tropical fruit at all. (Maybe age of the can?) the flavor is sweet overall. Mild caramel, unripe fruit, maybe a floral hint. Bitterness is on the low side of the spectrum. The Brewer almost has the "New England" technique for brewing an IPA.

On tap at the source. Hazy light gold with a stingy off white head. Some earthy fruity pine with bits of citrus and tropical fruits and some oxidized hop aroma and flavor. Light sweet bready maltiness, Medium body light carbonation. Decent drinker but a bit light on body and somewhat grassy which turned me off a bit.

At the source served on Nitro. Thick black with a foamy tan head that persists. Some roasty chocolate and coffee on the nose and faint fruit. Flavor follows the aroma but adds a bit of earth and light lactic tartness. The body doesn't hold up to the tannic elements from the barrel treatment. Decent drinker but needs some work and it feels like some age is going to sour this one. Oh and why the nitro treatment?
