Taster at the source Bright hazy golden orange color with a thin white head that slowly dissipates. Light maple against a bready honey malt and light earthy clove and light pepper. Sweet but tasty.

4 oz. sample. Dirty caramel color. Slight yogurt upfront with guava and mildly soft tart cherry. Very soft pucker in the finish. Pretty much what you would expect from a fruited sour.

16 oz. can. No aroma until it warms a bit. Then Soft dark fruit. Taste is mild toffee, fig, raisin, caramelized sugar. Body and carbonation are correct. A nicely made dopplebock yet not as bold as it’s German big brothers. (Paulaner, Schloss Eggenberg Samichlaus).
