Bottle from The Quiky Mart. Slightly hazy deep golden bordering on amber with a good sized off white head that persists. Sweet bready maltiness with hints of toffee and fruit. Light pepper and spicy phenols round this out nicely. Bit of a lingering hop bitterness in the finish. Pretty tasty well made beer.

Bottle from a Lazy Dog Hazy deep copper bordering on amber with a decent sized frothy white head. Spicy earthy tropical fruity nose with bits of sugary malt at the edges. The flavor is quite sweet with a touch of alcohol warmth. Resinous hop and spicy rye flavor. This is a big sweet beer, a bit too sweet for a big IPA

Paid $5.99 for a 650 ml bottle at Cigarette City, Seabrook, NH. Slightly hazy orange color without any head. Aroma is mild nutmeg, weak gourd. Caramel and toasted grain under the nutmeg.

The above mentioned toasted grain and caramel makes the base of the brew. Thankfully the spice is mild and doesn’t overwhelm the palate. The actual pumpkin is hard to find but overall for a slightly aged bottle, it’s still pretty drinkable without any issues.

Bottle from a Lazy Dog Dark brown with light garnet at the edges and a decent sized frothy off white head that persists. Ginger, and nutmeg or allspice dominate the nose with a fair bit of sweet brown sugary bready caramel to back it up. Flavor follows the aroma quite well sweet maltiness with spices to balance. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick light syrupy mouthfeel. Not my favorite style, but this is pretty damn good beer. Nice sipper, I just wish it were a bit colder and snowing..... on second thought, I really don’t.

650 ml bottle without any kind of date coding. Amber color beer with lasting head retention. Aroma shows a lot of caramel malt and just a hint of herbal hops. I’m am not hopeful from the smell.

This has a huge caramel malt base that gives a sweetness that over-runs the hops. It doesn’t matter what variety of hops are used here because nothing can get through the layers of caramel malt. Entirely to sweet and also have an astringent finish. I really hope the Brewer reconsiders this recipe and reworks it. As it is this can’t hang with the big bold IPA’s that are found all over New England right now. Not being a snob, just speaking the truth.

650 ml bottle purchased from Prost Beer and Wine. Date bottled 7/10/2015. Deep ruby in color with very thin bubbly head. Aroma is spot on the style. Belgian yeast showing light fruit, candy sugar and traces of dark fruits.

Much like the aroma the flavor follows the style guidelines. Caramel, Belgian candy sugar, light yeasty fruity hints with a dry/ sugary texture. Very mild spice hints. The carbonation gives the mouthfeel a smooth velvet feel over the tongue. Very well crafted for the style!

Bottle from the Drinkery Derry Mostly clear amber copper color with a decent sized long lasting off white head. Pie spices and brown sugar rule the day here.

22 oz. bottle from Prost Beer and Wine, paid $8.50 Date on the bottle reads 7/277/2015. Aroma show the nice yeast by products, banana, fruity notes, sugar and spice.

The flavor is a spot on for the style. The flavor does indeed show the alcohol level throughout the sip. It doesn’t ruin the beer but it is a tad distracting for me. The yeast gives the brew a chewy / nearly full body. This is my fourth beer sampled from Rockingham Brewing Company and its by far my favorite one. Very nicely constructed Tripel.

22 oz. bottle purchased at Prost. Deep golden color with lasting head retention. Aroma is sweet pale malt, hay and wheat.

Big wheat backbone with a chewy malty/ bready texture. Sweet without any kind of hop at all. This brew is all about wheat and pale malts. Body is the medium plus range with a pretty good mouthfeel. It is on par with what the style should be. Simple and straight forward without and off flavors. This brew ends clean.
