Can from the Packie Pours a lightly hazy medium gold color with a frothy long lasting bone white head. Huge tropical fruits in the aroma and flavor. Bitter earthy grassy with a bready light caramel butterscotch backbone.

Big pounder can with no label, just oui oui oui written on it. Initially pour is rather clear with a slight metallic pepper nose. Taste is quite bandaid at first, and then very strong, does not hide its alky content well. Quite difficult to take, and ill-mannered it is. Rather rude, actually. Yes, totally uncivilized, not like the refined farms of the old country. I think I'm gettin a little dizzy near the end, too. Some kinda beer fer-sher. Would not do another unless there was no other to catch a buzz on. There, you got it. Go figger.

Not listed as Rye on my can but they assured me this is what it is. On the menu it just said Remy's Double India Pale Ale. Pour is rather viscous and slightly hazy on an off pale color. Thick head. Taste is so big and bad, its so medicinal, so citrus bitter grapefruit hind that it almost makes my gag reflex kick in. Burning warm sensation all the way down the gullet. So much alky in this that it kick you straight up in the ass. Such a big bitter bastard all the way to its soapy end. There you have it, what else can be said?

Big pounder can thanks to my daughter who lives in new hamp. Nice and dark is the pour. Head fades. Nose is big fat ornery bock. Taste is warming volatile slightly burned lager. Big strong bock personality, good example of a domestic bock. Comes across like those from the old country. Not bad, finish seems like its more than 7%.

Big pounder can thanks to my daughter. Beautiful aroma and presentation in a glass. Its smells so attractive and it also has the look of cloudy raspberry lemonade, all pink and stuff. Lots of yeasty clumps sediment on the bottom of the glass. Yes, much raspberry and some tart lemonade but there is nothing artificial about this. BTW, this stuff is really good, its so friendly, I'm really liken this but be aware, I like sour and tart beers and this comes across as the real thing, its not nasty or artificial. Some processed feel in there but it is quite nice overall.

Big thanks to my daughter for this one. It a pounder can. Pour is thick and viscous with a big thick creamy head. Lots of turpentine pine and volatile spruce in the nose. Taste is total kick ass IPA, straight up on viscous style. Its a little warming going down. Big bold whack in the face. Nasty nellie. I hate IPA but this stuff is terribly on style. If you like this BS, you better put this on e on yer bucket list fer sher. Other than the dizzying feeling I get after finishing the can, it has little enjoyment factor for me.

Bottle from the Packie Lightly hazy dark brown with faint garnet edges and a small bubbly off white head that recedes. Toasty caramel and dark dried fruits with a bit of alcohol and sherry like oxidation.

Taster pour (2/1/20) at the brewery. Appearance is clear golden yellow-orange with trace sparkle, ring of head with nice lacing. Aroma is strong pine and musky armpit. Taste is strong initial mango/stone fruit over (back half) pine, musky armpit and substantial caramel/bread malt balance. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good, strong flavors and there's some weight here.

16 oz. can. Aroma has lemon, orange, and soft herbs. Flavor has the citrus throughout with the herbal or pine in the finish. No bitterness and has a softer mouthfeel. Slightly above average for me.
