Stinky weed, light citrus, mellow grainy body. Moderate herbal bitterness. This is about average overall but you really have to like danky.

Can from a Lazy Dog. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a good sized but short lived bubbly off white head. Clove and toffee on the nose with some light tart fruit. Taste has more tartness than the nose suggested but still seems heavy with toffee or dark caramel like maltiness. Light bit of tannic woody dryness. Not the best Flanders style beer I've had, but not horrible either. A good start that needs some tweaking perhaps.

Can from a Lazy Dog. Pours a slightly hazy dark brown with a bubbly tan head that persists. Bready toasty light caramel and chocolate maltiness against a bit of earthy pine and citrus. Not bad if a little sweet.

Some fruit upfront with a mild grain backbone. The finish has some stern grassy bitterness. It shows some good flavor for such a low gravity brew. I got to say the bitterness gets aggressive as it warms.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer & Wine. Appearance is opaque black with tons of light floaties, fair sparkle at the edges of the glass, 2-finger plus foamy beige head with decent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is roasted malt and resiny bitter. Taste is moderately strong sweet roasted malt and equally strong bitter resin followed by bitter roast. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, the elements are all there but have had other Black IPA's with a bit more pop in the flavor department and the palate here is a bit lackluster. Still, decent.

Draft. Thin white suds on top a black liquid. Pretty good coffee, roasted malt, chocolate. Good body and dry roasted texture. ABV is mostly hidden. Pretty well crafted.

Growler shared by Mcox90, thanks for the opportunity. Hazy murky lemony yellow in color without much of a head. Earthy grassy citrus on the nose with bits of sweet fruit and a light astringency. Somewhat crisp body, easy drinker.
