Bottle. Cloudy, pal gold, no head but effervescent. Dry nose, apples, skin. Tasty flavor of sweet apple, finishing semi-dry, a bit oily and full. Nice balance and good drinking all around.

Sampled from a 16 oz brown bottle this beer poured a golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was apple juice. The flavor was tangy apple, apple peel and apple juice. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

Tasting at Matt’s
Very pale color, cloudy. Appley and lemony aroma. Moderately sweet, with fresh apple juice flavor; not much character or depth, but still a pleasant cider.

Bottle - Fleshy green dry apple. Cloudy pale gold. Sweet apple and some nice sweet notes. Easy drinking, sweet and inoffensive. Draft - Apple and some light funky notes. Pale grey. Light funky fleshy Apple. Better than the bottle, not nearly as sweet.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy blonde / yellow with a tiny, quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma brings out farmhouse yeast, very dry quality, and musty apple skins. Flavour brings out light-to-medium sweetness, with farmhouse yeast, apple skins, and medium residual sweetness. Nothing complex, but I like the saison yeast in here. Decent.

Draft at the Village Tavern - Hammondsport. Pours totally clear with light effervescence. Sugary ripe Apple aroma with touches of cinnamon. Heavy sweet flavor, sickly, with prominent wintery slices, concentrated apple syrup. Medium bodied, chewy, with spritzy carbonation. Finishes with lots more sugary, liquefied apples, cinnamon. Some natural apple flavours in the aftertaste. Ho hum.

500 ml purchased at Leary’s Fine Wine. The color is massively hazy after a slow canted pour. Aroma is cheap Motts Apple sauce with yeast.

The flavor is close to a cheap grocery store apple sauce watered down with earthy yeast and baking soda. I never have gotten a chewiness form a cider before, not really a pleasant thing. I expect some crispness, that crispness isn’t really here. I like the creative idea behind this cider, it’s a same it just doesn’t really come together very well.
