The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is flowers and light citrus and biscuits. Taste is moderately bitter but not at all hop slaughter. Good balance. Very drinkable.

Can at home in London - picked up in Waterbury. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with a billowing, frothy white head. Crispy biscuits and pale grains in the nose, some citrus peel. Light sweet flavour, fairly dry, with more pale biscuits, lemon peel, moderate grassy bitterness. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Clean finish, crisp and drying, with more biscuity sugars, dry hay, crispy cereal grains, more lemon peel and grass. Great stuff. Really drinkable.

from a tall-boy can. Thanks Grant for sharing. very pale golden, 2 finger creamy white head. smells nice, a little nutty and sweet paired with a light wheat aroma and pine. thin mouthfeel, tons of older hops with a lot of pine here. not sure how I feel about the hop onslaught. Decent beer.

Bottle at home, I like me some IPL and been wanting to try Von trapp for a bit. Orangey gold big pillowy head. Nose is floral hops and some bready notes. Tastes floral, some grass, light peppery tones, sourdough, Pilsner malt. Slight sticky palate and lingering hops.

Bottle at Sander stag. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. Biscuit and cereal in the nose, some toasted hay, very slight caramel. Light sweet flavour with more biscuity character, faint leafy bitterness, more cereal, hay. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Fairly crisp on the finish, with dry pale bread, dried cereal grains, light bitter straw. Nice lager.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Prost, North Hampton, NH. Nearly clear gold with just a slight haze. Aroma shows a light lemon peel with a mild floral hop presence. Pilsner malt is also evident.
The flavor is exactly as the aroma leads you to believe. Pilsner malt backbone with a mild bitterness after the sip from Floral hops. No date code on the bottle but this must be a fresher bottling. Hops are alive and doing well. Good lighter body with a fresh mouthfeel. It is a nice IPL.
