River Roost Brewery offers aromatic, hop forward, full flavored beers brewed in 10BBL batches. Established in 2016, owner and operator Mark Babson, a former brewer and quality technician in the industry, now spends his days in the brewhouse or behind the bar creating favorites like Más Verde, Mo’rilla, and Glimpse.

Appearance: pale yellowed cardboard color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: melon to citrusy hops up front flanked by a little bit of tropical hoppy juicy whiffs, light clean malts
Flavor: meshes the previously noted aromas to a fine bittersweet juicy quality; finishes melon-like and citrusy
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable, smooth along the tongue, light hop bitterness asertiveness
Overall: nicely done AIPA or NEIPA, whatever this is supposed to be and one I would return to.

Appearance: yellow in color with a one and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: nice earthy to grassy & floral spicy hops with a super light bready maltiness underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine spicy to sweet maltiness; finishes clean and earthy/grassy/floral hoppy toned
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, smooth along the tongue, light earthy hops brush the tongue just a wee bit
Overall: I say a nicely done Czech pilsener worthy of coming back to.

Pours very pale yellow-gold, frothy white head. Fairly dank, ample raw fresh hops, some white pepper, lemon, mango, papaya, tangerine. Low bitterness. Background pale malts. Drinks well.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown color with a swiftly dieing head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: the normal brown ale notes of nuts, caramel/toffee character, some earthy vibes and light chocolate then some light smoke
Flavor: wraps up the prior noted aromas to a sweet smoky tone with a fairly long finish of the smoke, nuts and caramel features
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, very smooth along the tongue and nothing really seems to get in it's way.
Overall: a very nicely done big brown ale I know I would love to have again.

Appearance is shown in the picture.
Aroma: big smooth orange juicy notes, lemon and grapefruity hop scents, light rind bitterness, light clean malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet juicy quality; mild finish of orange juice, lemon and grapefruity hops
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper, some smoothness on the tongue, low hop bitterness
Overall: a very nicely done NEIPA I could have again

Appearance: burnt yellow chalky color-ed with a two finger white foamy head that took it's time to fall off then leave some light lace
Aroma: white grapes, subtle danky hop tones, and berry hoppiness, clean malts further underneath
Flavor: nicely balances all the prior noted hop aromas bittersweetly, mild juiciness then clean brisk aftertaste of white grapes and danky hoppiness
Texture: medium bodied, mostly a sipper, somewhat smooth along tongue, finishes semi-juicy, subtly danky, and semi-crisp
Overall: an absolutely lovely NEDIPA well worth my time.

Can to tall tulip.
Appearance: transparent copper color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: biscuity malts, sweet grains, earthy hops, super subtle honey on the back end
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas together somewhat sweet with a touch of earthy bitterness trying to balance; sly aftertaste of biscuity to bready tones and sweet grains
Texture: between light and medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper, very smooth along tongue, finishes bready/biscuity smooth
Overall: I say a nicely done Maibock worthy of coming back to.

Appearance: burnt orange haziness, two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated to leave some messy lace
Aroma: big citrusy juicy hops, some onion/garlic backing, clean malts
Flavor: citrusy smooth juicy sweetness initially, mild onion/garlic again but with a little bit of pine bitterness; subtle aftertaste of citrus and pine
Texture: medium to full bodied, great sipper; delicate citrusy smooth juicy finish
Overall: a spectacular NEDIPA well worthy of returning to.

Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two and a half fingers of eggshell white foamy head, dissipated to leave some mild lace
Aroma: dark bread, toast, nutty tones, earthy tones and a little bit of cocoa powder
Flavor: starts toasty and somewhat roasty with good earthiness then becomes a bit sweeter with more sips; mild earthy to sweet and bready aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, smooth along my tongue, finishes earthy, nutty and dry
Overall: a very nicely done dark lager, absolutely would love again.

Appearance: dark brown color with a two finger off white foamy head, subtle messy lace after dissipation
Aroma: dark bread, earthy tones, black licorice, toast, smoke/ash and some cocoa powder
Flavor: wraps up all those previously mentioned aromas sweetly, somewhat smokey and a sky touch of spice, mild aftertaste of dark bread, toast and smoke
Texture: almost medium bodied - just a touch under, somewhat sessionable, mild finish of smoke, black licorice and earthy tones
Overall: a very nicely done dark lager I would bang again
