This was poured into a nonic.
The appearance was a glossy black color with a three finger off white foamy head that dissipates pretty quick. Spider web lacing.
The aroma has some milk/sweet stout qualities but actually allows a nice balancing roastiness to it. Chocolate nibs seem there bringing in that semi-sweet to bitter quality rounding it all out.
The flavor balances extremely nice between the roast and the bitter and the sweet. That lactose is there but doesn’t come across overly sweet.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sipping quality about it. Mild carbonation. Roastiness seems to slide over my tongue.
Overall, an extremely nicely balanced milk/sweet stout that delegates a subtle slickness not usually found in this style.

Can. Super hazy gold. Thin, messy, lasting, white head. Nose has a load of juicy peach and mango. Slightly floral and herbal. Touch of white grape. Flinty, mineraly edge to it. Taste is light, citrusy bitter. Good fruity pop. Light body. Clean as a whistle. More juice on the finish. Drier on the close. Smashable.

Paid $3.50 for a 16 oz. can at CBC Waterbury. Date on bottom of can reads 9/20/16. Dirty orange in color. Aroma is floral, mild malt, earthy /leafy hops.

The Brewer 1st called it an IPA during it’s early life. Now this is marketed in cans and clearly reads APA. Honestly, either way this is an enjoyable hoppy ale.

Keg at Blackback - Waterbury. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, white head. Great pithy citrus aroma, fresh, with some pale bread, orange. Medium sweet flavour with more pithy tangerine and grapefruit, pale bread, biscuit, m on. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, with further juicy citrus fruits, pale biscuits, melon, tangerine. Delicious APA.

On tap at Mcgillicuddy’s, Williston, VT.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking glossy / hazy burnt orange color. Light speckled lacing forms after the head dissipated.
The smell had a beautiful amount of juicy orange bitterness bursting into sharp citrus hops. Subtle tropical sweetness underneath.
The taste was a balanced sweet to bitter blend of citrus hops to malts. Light bitter citrus rind aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light allowing the harshness to be the bitterness hitting the tongue.
Overall, this was a really good IPA that I would come back to.

Heather _B with this bottle share! Very nice aroma: good level of roast with English malt, burnt sugar and molasses. The body is on the fuller side with a nice dry roasted finish. The lactose adds some sweetness to balance the roast. This is a very enjoyable stout.

Bomber, pours black, not too thick with a thin head. Nice aroma. smells like an English stout, with a little sweetness and molasses. Very creamy, the lactose is helping a lot. taste has a lot of coffee bean and chocolate and fudge and espresso finish.
