We operate a small brewery in the hills of Tunbridge, Vermont with a tasting room in South Royalton. The Tasting Room for Upper Pass Beer Company is located on the green inside First Branch Coffee Shop.
Closed the South Royalton taproom during the Covid-19 Pandemic. After Simple Roots' closure at the end of 2025, moved in to their space and are aiming to re-open the taproom there by February, as well as purchasing an adjacent building to expand operations.

Oh, this is good...Pours a very hazy, pineapple-orange, with minimal head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, with some basement dankness and sour washcloth. Flavor is citrus and tropical fruit, with just the right level of smoothness. Not too sweet, not too bitter. There's just a light pine/spruce hop bitterness in the finish. Very well-done beer.

Canned 3/14, drunk 4/4/18.
Light amber, surprisingly clear yet tons of sediment in the bottom. White head fades quickly to a ring.
Tangy pineapple, a bit of bread, light caramel and a ton of citrus. I'm with them on the citrus and pineapple, but not sure why all of the specialty malt character is in this. Definitely detracts, in my opinion.
Light and dry in the mouth, but some good juiciness saves the day, as it's sharp and resinous at points. Kind of loose carbonation creating some wateriness. The texture could be softer, as well.

From my brother: pours opaque orange with a white head. Aroma is piny and herbal. Taste is actually rather bitter. Nice body. Pretty solid.

Draught @ Rattle'n'Hum. Dark brown with reddish tint against the light, large creamy beige head, mocha aroma, low carbonation, sweetish mocha taste, smooth thin body, long finish. Smooth but a bit thin.

16 oz. can (split 2 ways), purchased Hunger Mountain CO OP. Canning date of 3-15-2018. Ugly looking protein and large sediment particles floating around the brew. No matter, the flavor is what matters. Flavor shows slightly juicy citrus, floral, mild dank herbal hops. Body and texture feels lighter than the 8%. Real nice drinker! I would sample on draft if given the chance. 4 pack of cans was purchased cold.
