473ml can. Clear amber with a beige head. Aroma of biscuity malts, caramel, light toasted bread, nutty. Taste of biscuit and caramel malts, nutty, light toasted bread, some herbal and spicy hop, sweet with a light bitterness, growing in the finish. Medium bodied.

Pours slightly hazed yellow gold into a willi. Bright white head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Pine aromas. Crisp and dry with citrus pith, tree bark and earthy pine front to back. Lasting pith finish.

Oh yeah, that's the stuff...rich mineral and lightly bready, honey-drenched malts with mild, but aromatic, fresh herbal-like hops. All highly aromatic and balanced.
Rich and malty with deep, supple, comforting honey drying out nicely on the finish with pepper and herbs. Quite a bit of hop bitterness. It's not acidic or overpowering, but makes the beer rich and strong-feeling, while also balancing the bock-like maltiness.

From Beer Drop, 00433 stamped but I don't know what that means.

It pours a dark amber brown with a large head of off white foam. Retention and lacing are very good.

The smell is roasted malt, cocoa, a little bit nutty, has some hop bitterness.

The taste matches the smell with the roast tasting somewhat on the burnt side. Which is fine.

Overall mouthfeel is fine.
I would drink this again.

A bit grassy, quite fruity, quite woody. No scallion nor resin. Very light honey and white bread balances, for the most part, but the woodiness is rather pervasive.
Clean and malty with good attenuation and a bit of honey-like suppleness and a hint of breadiness. I know they can't all be tropical fruit and citrus juice bombs, but even so, this seems a bit too woody, grassy and drily spicy. Maybe just a bit too attenuated for the hop character here.

Illegibly-dated can drunk 11/13/25, as pictured.
Soft smoke with gentle caramel and lots of biscuit and bread. Some pepper and minor red fruit. Subtle, easygoing stuff. But clean as hell, seemingly dry and with light mineral on the finish.
Gently smokey with dried twigs and burnt bark. No bacon and salt here. Soft caramel and light vanilla with moderate breadiness and light pepper. There's a slight powdered sugar character (that's about the best I can describe it; associated with the corn) that kind of breaks up the crispness that I want here. Keeps it rather soft and sugary. And it's a simple, table-like sugar, not a good maltiness. Kind of a miss? Though far from a tragedy. The start of the beer is crisp, peppery and smokey.

White grape/white wine is foremost and done really nicely, with no twang/chalk/resin. Clean, snappy malts behind it shows a mix of light honey and cracker. Fruity, bright, very aromatic and inviting with big grape and mineral lingering.
Maltier than expected with rich honey balancing not-very-acidic white grape character from the hop. Bit of bread towards the finish which does dry out somewhat, though still remains quite richly malty. The hop character is rather bluntly white grape juice, not the more subtle, complex white grape/white wine/orange wine that Nelson shows at its best. And yeah, maybe just a bit breadier and burlier on the malt side on the finish, than I'd prefer. But still a well-made beer from the masters.
