Fra fat på Craft Beer Co, Brixton 4 Nov 12. Rødbrun. Skummet fester seg som prikker på glasset. Sterk søt plommearoma. Sherrypreg. God frukt- & plommesmak. Litt syrlig bitter etterhvert. Blir vel heftig. Sikkert god som dessert.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Clear golden liquid with small white head. Aroma of grass, earthy hops, fruit, biscuit and bread. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of some bread and grass. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Quite boring and a bit thin.

Draft at the Craft Beer Company, Clerkenwell. Poured a very dark brown with a reddish hue and little life. The aroma is rich and smoky, leading to a rich fruity slightly spicy flavour. The palate is weak but the flavour lingers for quite a while with some minor alcoholic burn. It’s somewhat like an English Christmas ale. Very drinkable.

Tap at brewery. Islay scotch, juicy orange, light smoke, oak, and sweet vanilla aroma. Hazy light amber with a large off-white head. Smoky Islay scotch, light oak, alcohol very well hidden. Medium body and carbonation. I’m a huge Islay scotch fan, and this beer did not disappoint.
