Tap at brewery. Strong ginger, smoky roasted pumpkin malt, light coffee aroma. Deep brown with a small off-white head. Ginger, smoky roasted pumpkin, ash, nutmeg, light coffee, and subtle bitter flavor. Medium body. One of the more unique and exceptional pumpkin beers Iβve tried. I liked the coffee touch, and the fact the brewer didnβt try to go all pumpkin pie with it.

Sampled from the tap at FOBAB 2012. Pours a musty deep amber with a light brown heasd that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has some sweet chocolate and sourness with a bit of dark grains. Flavor has more roasted malts with sour cherries and a hint of chocolate. Didnβt come together for me.
