Tap at Appalachian Collegeville, 29/11/13. Dark mahogony brown with a thin beige covering. Nose is hoppy, light malts, touch of pine, caramalised sugars, danker hops kick in. Taste comprises dank hops, straw, brown bread, rye, light caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy hop loaded bitterness at the finale. Probably the best beer I had here today, decent hopped up rye affair.

Keg tap at Appalachian, Collegeville, 29/11/13. Dark mahogony brown with a good sized pale tan head that retains well. Nose us thin, light toffee, touch of booze, earthy, metallic notes. Taste comprises dark toffee, hint of cocoa, sweet fudge, metallic nip, dark fruit. Medium body with bite, fine carbonation, sweet finale. Very mediocre for style, severely lacking in depth, really not much there at all ! The 12% ABV doesnβt show its face much in its defence.

Tap at Appalachian, Collegeville, 29/11/13. Hazed orange amber with a thin off white head that clears to edgeing. Nose is thin, faint bread dough, lemon rind, light grassy notes. Taste comprises light citrics, faint orange ring, grassy. Medium bodied, little in the way of carbonation - poor feel, sweet closure. Sub par nonsense devoid of flavour and body. And the stoopid lemon got dumped before I went anywhere near sipping from the glass, just remind me the last time I had a wheat based beer in either Belgium or Germany and someone stuck a fucking piece of lemon in it !?!?!?
