Short-lived, off-white head; slightly hazy orange-amber beer. Very spicy nose, minty, sweet pepper - but I canโ€™t get truffle aroma. Dry, leafy, autumnleaves, alcohol and fusels, retronasal even like old brandy, and cinnamon in the finish. Alcoholburn, sharpish; slick and medium bodied. Very interesting beer. Iโ€™m convinced the beer might have benefitted from being even more stressed on the truffles. Mille grazie to Lorenzo and the Italian gang!

Cloudy deep blond color; the bottle is gushing a bit, and there is a big head in the glass. The aroma is lightly spicy, and with chemicals. The combination of the cereals used and honey produce a chemical flavor, medicine; unpleasant.

Amber color; big head. Light caramel aroma, very light fruitness and yeast. It has some caramel flavor and a medium-dry mouthfeel; correct bitterness. Simple.

Hazy deep blond color; poor head. It has a very nice hop aroma, like a mix of Saaz with a hint of Cascade. There is a fairly good malt flavor and toffee, and a good hopping, aromatic and with a light fruity touch. Good.

Cloudy amber color; small head. Aroma of chewing-gum, light cinnamon and anise. Good body strength, malt and caramel flavor, with good bitterness level and light spicy touch. Quite good.

Dark brown color; no head; almost no carbonation. Yeast aroma. Solid body, caramel and roasted malt flavor, Porter-like, correct bitterness, but also the unmistakeable homebrew style.

Bottle from the brewery
Hazy dark amber color; too much carbonation, quite gushing; big frothy head. Light aroma of caramel, hop, yeast. Dry caramel flavor and chocolate (more at the end); strong bitterness; light yeast feeling. Not bad, but boring.
