On tap at Vintage Industrial π Bar, Zagreb. Hazy golden, small off-white head. Lightly hoppy, fruity, light citrus, orange. Dry, very plain. Medium body, soft carbonation, some bitterness in the finish. Very boring. This is more like a regular pale ale, you don't go brewing NEIPA if you are not serious about it.

On tap at Vintage Industrial π Bar, Zagreb. Hazy pale golden, small off-white head. Faint hay aroma, grainy, low on hops. Crisp. Light to medium body, moderate to high carbonation, abrupt finish. Refreshing and not badly tasting, but very boring.

Tap at Pivana. Pitch black body, creamy white-tan head, medium retention. Looking fine! Aroma, creamy, mild vanilla aroma, actually nice, if not complex or too up front. Let the beer warm for a while as it was obviously too cold... Didn't help it as much as I'd hoped. Light and lean malty backboned, too light and lean and non-distinct, helped with subtle, light vanilla notes, the star of this beer. But they are subdued too. Thin bitterish finish and aftertaste, with just a subtle, vague touch of wood in the very finish hiding within the bitterish notes. Huh... this does have its upsides, I mean, vanilla's a wonderful thing and it helps here, but nothing bourbon-like about it and the oak is an afterthought. My main gripe would perhaps be the base beer which is almost a blank, non-distinctive slate, when it could provide balance and allow vanilla to shine even more in combo with some special-malt notes. And I'm quite sure that that feat of daring wouldn't alienate anyone, but eh, their choice. I love this style, it can be fantastic, but this, while a solid beer, is far from a fantastic example.

On tap at Pivana Zagreb. Unclear orange coloured, small to medium sized white head, light oranges in the nose. Sweetish malty, light citrusy hoppy, notes of tropical fruit and oranges with mild bitterness in the finish. Ok one but nothing more than that.

On tap at Pivana Zagreb. Unclear pale golden coloured, small white head, light flowery nose. Sweetish malty, light flowery, light bitterness in the finish. Not the best not the worst just simply average and ordinary.

Tap at Pivana, shared with Ogivlado. Murky amber-orange body with a white head. Mild hoppy, lightly tropical, lightly citric aroma. Nice nuff. Tropical notes, berryish, somewhat juicy, mild bitterness. However, it's just too lean and light for the style, even slightly empty. The aromas are pretty much there, but the body's not. Still, a valid contender for the best Croatian non-craft beer.Rerate: Had it again recently, and I have to admit... It's disappointing. This went down in my eyes almost as much as their pils went up. The body is way too lean, simply nowhere near the norm for the style. And the combination with the berry-like hoppy notes somehow doesn't make it moreish, which a NEIPA should kinda be...

Tap at Pivana, shared with Ogivlado. Hazy golden body. Hazy golden body, white head. Flowery, slightly soapy and dusty aroma, yup, predominantly noble hops in the aroma. Flowery soft taste, subdued bitterness, slightly soapy and a very light metallic note. Bit too "full" for the style, but generally a solid lager, as expected from Mirko. Now if ZagrebaΔka's regular beer was like this and not that hi gravity stuff...
