On tap @Medina Škrinja pub, Varaždin. Black pour, two finger creamy beige head, medium retention, sticky lacing on the glass. Sweet and roasty on the nose, wood notes, light fruity, caramel in the background.
Medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, creamy, light sticky. Balanced bittersweet taste, slightly roasted. Aroma of toasted caramel, wood, dark bread. Nutty, light chocolate notes. Medium lasting finish, slightly dry, sweet, roasty.
Easily drinkable. Good one.

On tap at Pivana Zagreb. Black coloured, medium sized pale beige head, light roasty nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, light grainy and caramel with nutty notes. Light roasty and dry finish. Not bad.

Tap at Pivana. Almost black dark brown body, off-white head. Dried fruit and roast with some dark caramel in the aroma, whiffs of alcohol. More lean, dry and bitterish than expected, not too sweet, cocoa joins with the roast, more dried stone fruit, herbal bitterish finish, more alcohol. Actually enjoying this a fair bit, good work Mirko!

On tap at Pivana Zagreb. Deep brown (almost black) coloured, medium sized beige head, malty caramel nose. Sweet biscuity malty, caramel, dried fruits, light toffee and notes of alcohol with sweet finish. Smooth and sweet.

Can, 0.5l. Cloudy golden pour, one finger soapy white head, medium retention, broken lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, grassy and grainy notes, herbal, hints of citrus peel.

Aroma of grass, grains, bread. Malty notes, herbal, light spice, hints of citrus. Slightly peppery. Medium lasting finish, mild lingering bitterness.

Draft at Azimut, Šibenik, Croatia, Tuesday 9th September 2025 after a long walk around the maze of alleyways and streets and a lovely seafood lunch at Bistro Luce & Brigita. Other than the fact it was actually served in a Hefeweisse glass (I guess a 500ml pils glass is hard to come by) it looked fab, nice pale gold appearance, mid sized white head. A touch on the sweet side, but pleasant citrus bite, could be crisp and more pils like but otherwise another solid Grid beer.

Bottle from supermarket, had this back at Frank, Friday 5th September 2025 after another walk from Camp Riviera Makarska into Makarska. Pours yellow with a haze, large white head. Tropical touches from the off, it's very fruity, light bitterness, hoppy, good bite. For a beer that's not too difficult to buy from a supermarket, this is good.

Bottle at Servantes Bar, Korchula Old Town, Tuesday 2nd September 2025, after a 7.7km walk from Lumbarda. Pours clear gold with a mid sized white head, nice bitterness, dry finish, pithy, citrus dominates, quite a decent beer.

On tap at Pivana, Zagreb. Clear golden, medium creamy white head, sparkling. Aroma is moderately hoppy, citrusy, resiny, herbal. Some grapefruit, slightly grassy and danky. Grainy underneath. Light to medium body, moderate to high carbonation, slightly creamy. Flavour is grainy and bready at first, soft citrus notes, some harsh herbal bitterness in the finish. A bit unbalanced but good nevertheless.
