Bottle at Servantes Bar, Korchula Old Town, Tuesday 2nd September 2025, after a 7.7km walk from Lumbarda. Pours clear gold with a mid sized white head, nice bitterness, dry finish, pithy, citrus dominates, quite a decent beer.

On tap at Pivana, Zagreb. Clear golden, medium creamy white head, sparkling. Aroma is moderately hoppy, citrusy, resiny, herbal. Some grapefruit, slightly grassy and danky. Grainy underneath. Light to medium body, moderate to high carbonation, slightly creamy. Flavour is grainy and bready at first, soft citrus notes, some harsh herbal bitterness in the finish. A bit unbalanced but good nevertheless.

Tap at Pivana. Guess they keep their specials to this place nowadays, or some usual suspects that always carry Grif dropped their specials. Dunno. Anyway, almost clear golden body, thick off-white head, okay retention. The aroma shows light oxidation but still plenty of lychee, floral and citric notes. Guess Mirko's hop budget was expanded by corporate. And he brewed a completely clean, sweetish but still fairly crisp lager, bit citric, underlying white grapes, herbal notes, light but persistent bitterness. Maybe Grif's best special that isn't a vanilla porter.

Tap at Medina Skrinja, Varazdin. Hazy orange color with thick white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, oranges, peach. Taste is sweet fruity, wirhtropical fruits, oranges, mango, light grapefruit zest.

On tap at Pivana Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, citrusy hoppy nose. Bready, grainy, citrusy and light herbal with moderate bitter hoppy finish. Easy drinkable.

Huge thanks Ogi for this one. 0.33 l can. Clear brown, small tan head. Aroma is spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, star anise, candy and caramel. Flavour is spicy cookie, gingerbread, biscuity, star anise. Caramel sweetness. Some astringency, some bitterness, overall quite soft. Smooth, light, dry finish.

0.33l can, thanks Ogi! Shared with Fil and Ryan. Brownish body, tan head if I remember correctly. Cloves and nutmeg, floral notes and other spices in the aroma. Spicy taste, bit caramelly, soapy less thrilling than the aroma, but not as bad as hinted. Okay. We didn't hate it as much as Ogi did, hah, dunno why.

Unclear brown coloured, medium sized beige head, rather artificial cinnamon in the nose. Dominant artificial cinnamon, discreet coriander and weak orange touch with soapy notes in the finish. It's (hardly) possible to drink whole can but if you open second one inform or notice yourself where's the nearest toilet.
