Bottled 500ml. -as Domaće Đakovačko Pivo Blond Ale with 5.2%ABV. Unclear hazy golden coloured, small white head, yeast and hay in the nose. Yeast, hay, light herbal and heavy buttery taste with quite dry finish. Below average homebrew level.

Bottled 500ml. -Amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, nutty and bit biscuity with herbal touch in the finish. Quite dry finish.

Bottle at Tolkiens House. Black color tan head good retention. Chocolate aroma. Taste is bitter cocoa. OK.

On tap at Leopold's. Finally here. Shared with Leo himself. Cheers 🍻 A bit old batch. Light fruity hops. Red fruit. Light dark malty backbone. Roasty and coffee. Creamy texture. Dry. Balanced. Bitterness a bit lost. Body a bit thin. Moderate carbonation. Seems nice.

Tap at Runda. Misty golden body, white head. Light malty, bready aroma, vague apple. Light malty taste, vague apple touches. Okay overall. Hoped for more after a very good Black IPA, but hey. Will rerate.

On tap at Veliki Tolk Zagreb. Black coloured, small beige head, hops in the nose. Light roasted malt, touch of coffee, citrusy hoppy and soft pleasant bitterness in the finish. Alcohol well hidden. Quite good brew.

Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of Miro. Shared with him, Max, JFK10000. Pours black with beige head. Some hoppiness in aroma, malty, some chocolate, somewhat watery, bitterish finish. Medium bodied.

Tap at Veliki Tolk. Pitch black, light creamy ran head. Citric and herbal hoppy aroma, light dark malt. Citric, peachy hoppiness on a soft malty body and some roast. Solid, clean bitter aftertaste. A tasty, well balanced black double ipa. A bit on the lighter side, but a well crafted beer. This new Black Hat shows promise!
