Bottle @ home shared with my good friends Niels and Willem. Amber color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, some caramel, caramelised sugars, sweet, dark fruits. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad. Don't really get oak and perhaps just the slightest hint of vanilla. Quite ok though.

(Draught at De Drie Dorstige Herten, Utrecht, 26 July 2017) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, dark fruit and dusty hops. Malty taste with notes of caramel, red fruit, bready malt and a gentle bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Smooth and refreshing. Quite nice.

Bottle @ home. Clear pale golden color, medium sized quite rough bubbly white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is a bit grassy, weedy. Taste wheat, somewhat sweetish, somewhat fruity, moderately bitter. Body is decent, but carbonation is annoyingly high and fizzy. Meh, disappointing.

7 3 8 3 15 Draft at Eurotrash United, Rotterdam. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of fruity hops, citrus, light floral notes, a little yeast and malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

Draft at Eurotrash United, Rotterdam. Very hazy golden blond with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, nettles, peach, citrus and onion notes. Flavour is light sweet and light moderate bitter. Light to light medium bodied with light carbonation.

7 3 7 3 14 33 cl bottle at home, bought at the brewery (no Two Chefs on the label anymore). Almost black color. Dense beige head with pretty good retention. Aroma’s: roasted, red fruit, light sweet. Retronasal it’s sweet, sweet drop, a bit fruity. Flavor is light sweet, droppig, light roasted bitter. Under medium bodied. Finishes slightly dry, roasted, moderate bitter. OK, would have made a good porter....

6 2 6 3 11 33 cl bottle at home, bought at the brewery. Color is deep amber (rather than pale). Off white head disappears immediately. Aroma’s: sweetish, sweet fruit, light vegetal. Retronasal there’s grassy hops, sweet fruit. Flavor is rather bitter with malty sweetness. Medium bodied. A bit caramellish and moderate bitter finish. Meh.

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 02/12/2018, 33 cl sample. Cloudy golden color, short soapy head. Aroma of a bit onion and garlic, slight fruitiness. Slight bitterness. Thin body, harsh carbonation. Carbonation is killing it. About to drainpour

Nottle @ home. Hazy pale yellow pale orangy color, medium sized bubbly white head that diminishes almost instantly. Aroma is nicely fruity, tropical fruity. Flavor has it too but a bit less full, quite some grassy hops, light grassy bitter especially in the finish. Thinnish texture, low body, a bit fizzy carbonation. Needs some work I’d say but of to a solid start.
