Description

Thx! to markoijelena. 750 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG V. BBF 11-2017. Dark amber with tanned bubbles. Nose is sweet herbal malts, far too sweet ,wort, sweet leaves,… Taste is moldy sweet plaster, wort, far too sweet, big plastic, overly metallic,… Body is sugar, plastic & metallic,… Bit empty, unimpressive Belgian at best, too hollow metallic, overly sweet,… Liked it less than Oost but didn’t particularly care for either.

Thx! to markoijelena. 750 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG V. BBF 11-2017. Hazy orange, little bubbles. Nose is sweet mandarin peel, sweet soap, sugar, dull malt, herbal, syrupy dough. Taste is odd sweet soap, sugary, malt sweet, plaster, dough, overly sweet with low wort. Body is sweet plastic malts. Dull, sugary, soapy, overly sweet touch cloying Belgian, lightly odd but that doesn’t make it any more interesting.

Sampled @ Ratebeer Belgian Summer Gathering 2016. A bit unclear red to dark red color, medium to full sized a bit rough off-white to beige head. Aroma is like a bock, sweet malts, slightly leaves, a bit earthy. Tastes about the same, a bit sugary, lightly bitter. Decent body and carbonation, but overall not very nice.
