Bottle split at CBJ, team purchase, 27/11/24. Black topped with a tan cap that clears to edgework. Nose is big on coffee grinds, charr, spice, dark malts, cocoa powder. Taste comprises chocolate, roast malts, hint of tiramisu, maple syrup, coffee bean. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Tidy impy but needs a touch more barrel to ramp it up a few notches.

Bottle thanks to the team. Near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Rich dark chocolate malts, lots of maple and lots of coffee. Savoury airy finish. Nice.

Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers team. Pours oily black-brown with a slight, bubbly tan head. Medium to big sweet flavour with rich, chewy black coffee character, maple syrup, bittersweet chocolate, earth, some dark fruits, moderate roast. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Mellow boozy warmth to finish, further bitter coffee character, cocoa, maple, earth. The coffee goes a long way to balancing against the sweetness. I liked this a whole lot.
