Poured a murky amber brew with lots of sediment and nice huge white head with good retention. More carbonated then expected. Taste is very caramely. Not as good as the Mcauslan Vintage Ale nut closer in terms of taste and color. I think as mentionned in the other review, this not very scotch-like and maybe more similar to a barley wine, though not the best one I would have drank. Overall enjoyable but a a bit expensive ($3.99 for 341ml).

Pourred a hazy yellow brew with a huge head. The beer almost exploded when I opened it but calm down once pourred into my glass. Good mixed of spices with great carbonation. By reading the comments below, it sems this beer might be a bit underrated, or again, I might have been lucky and got a non-infected bottle from this non-consistent brewery.

Pourred a deep amber brew with a huge head with good retention. Carbonation is huge. This seems to be a consistent thing with Schoune. When there beers are well bottled, which is half of the time, the carbonation is great. Over all, this beer is a lighter version of the reb'ale beer from the same brewery (less alcohol, less spice, less body). Does mean it is abad beer, just a lighter beer.

Pourred a deep murky amber brew with a huge head. Lot of carbonnation coming out of this one. Nice mixture of spice which give a good complexity to this belgian ale. Body is OK and alcohol is well hidden in the mix. Overall, a good one from this hit and miss brewery.

Renamed Ma p'tite Geuze, this is yet another spoiled beer. The beer smells like a day at the race track (burned rubber) Hazy gold in colour, with a sweet and sour taste (in a bad way), and the burned rubber coming out in taste.

Bottled. Pale yellow with some haze. Yeasty maple syrup aroma. Light bodied with a vague touch of lactic acid. Sparkling and fresh, a bit fruity.

Slightly hazy golden colour with a very thick white head comprised of large bubbles. Smells sweet with a bit of a belgian white aroma. Medium-bodied; Strong maple flavour with a tiny bit of malt and almost no hops. Overall, not great-not balanced at all, but some odd characteristics. I sampled this beer at Joey_Capps' on 13-September-2003 in Hamilton, Ontario.

Pour a golden colour brew with a nice big head that persisted for a long time (I hadn't had a great head like this in a long time). Light taste of spice, but there could have been a more complex mix of spice for my taste. The alcohol is well hidden. I also noticed a lot of lees at the bottom of the bottle. This is a good one from Schoune.

Pourred a small head that disapeared very quickly. Very light yellowish color. ABV is almost non-detactable with an enjoyable fruit aroma. I had some better witbier, this one really lack some punch.
