Very good beige head over virtually black beer. Fruity and dry hoppy esters, something as from diary, mild roast. Very aromatic herbal hops. Outspoken dry hopflavour, light bitterness, roast/burnt arriving later. Very light metallic streak, metaloxide, bit mineral even. Coffee milk. Aftertaste is much sweeter, liquorice-like. Beer is not heavily bodied, but really has a bite in it, chewy impression. Good carbonation. Long lasting roasted hints despite the sweeter aftertaste. Quite good, like it!

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before December 2022. Black with a thin, beige layer. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a little smoky aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, whisky, a touch of peat and traces of dark fruits. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty-bitter, moderately smoky taste of dark chocolate, coffee, whisky, peat, some ash and a touch of dark fruits, followed by a long, quite roasty-bitter, gently smoky, rather earthy finish. Full body, smooth, creamy to oily mouthfeel, almost flat. Lovely BA beer, very well balanced with great flavours from the whisky, really well-brewed. Good!
