Tap at Hoptic festival. Bit hazy golden with white head. Indeed some champagne and white grapes, sweet malts, light alcohol, star fruit, milky grains, dry grassy. Does taste like a champagne beer... Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with sparkly carbonation and dry champagne body.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before October 2020, cellared for almost a year. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty, a little fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, vanilla and a touch of oak. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, licorice, toasted hazelnut, some vanilla, light dextrose and a touch of oak, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, quite earthy and a little woody finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Fairly intense and heavy RIS, a little oaky but hardly any bourbon flavours detectable.
