Tap at the brewery. Pours green (bartender tells me they added food coloring to it for their Halloween party). Well, I;ll be damned, It DOES smell like a caramel apple - amazing! Taste is bitter grasses, apple, caramel, light sugar. Not quite the flavor of a caramel apple. It actually needs to be sweeter.

On tap yesterday at Draft Taproom. Pours clear brown. Flavor is slightly sweet caramels and floral hops, perhaps some rose hops. Quite tasty!

Can shared at the May 2016 MDBG bottle share, 5/2/16. Hazy orange, thin head, poor retention. Aroma of bready, doughy malt, stone fruits. The taste is doughy malt, herbal hops. Thin.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear golden amber with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, light floral, a bit of candied orange. Tastes of big candied orange, citrus, light floral. Medium body with a dry finish. Pretty enjoyable.

Rating #1977. According to the bartender, Firkin is a special release with the same base and a new ingredient added each week (or whenever this brew runs out)... this week’s version was gummy bears. Taste is grassy wheat, gummy bear, and bread. Interesting concept. I hope to be able to check out some of the other ingredients.
