Can: Hazy yellow-gold with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is lactic lemon, grains. Taste is even more milky....tangy-sour lemon, wheat malt. No zip.....no zing.....a rather poor Wit, all in all.

From a big pounder can at room temp. Precipitants floating around in this otherwise clear brown orange liquid. Candy hop aroma greets the olfactory. Those things floating in there are so interesting to watch. The alky content seems like much more than 5%. Strong dull ipa rye blast. Definitely unfiltered east coast BS even tho it’s clear, must be clear from racking in the bottle one a shelf. Not impressed by the freakingly on style ipa rye beer.

Big can. Metalic aroma as it nears my lips. Taste is large barge and in charge. Bitter black almost licorice ipa, wew. Large foamy rocky head. So dark. Think burnt imperial iap. Kick in the face this is. Rude freacken nasty mahfah at the end. If you liek big black mouth coating ipa, you need to ignore my numbers adn give this a spin. Put your seatbelt on.

4 month old pint can A: Clear dull orange pour with huge long lasting rocky head leaving thick lace. S: Muted scent of sweet caramel, orange and marmalade. T: Fruity and tart hop bitterness. Heavy tropical and malty notes lend some sweetness. M: Crisp carbonation and light medium body. Chewy resinous finish. O: Has low ratings but I think it's quite good. Not cheap though, and hard to find fresh. Still a nice IPA at a nice ABV.

Sample at Hoof Hearted during the Dragonsaddle Triple IPA Can Release on 11/15/2015. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, hops and pine. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, resiny hops and a touch of chocolate. The finish is malty up front with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
