Light but really really nice lime and cherry notes on tasty apple base. wish it was packing more heat but delicious and refreshing still.

Capped 500 from Bine & Vine. Pours light, bright, clear gold with a slight foamy white head that stuck around. Aroma is slightly sweet lime - could be the agave doing that. Med body almost. It's agave sweet, followed by some lime tart/bitter. Don't get apple til the sweet washes away. Nicely done, I suppose, but I'm not a big agave fan. Ginger lime would be much nicer.

Corked and waxed 375 from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours deep, dark purple. Aroma of blackberry, plum, apple and maybe anise. Med plus body. Not dry, yet astringent. Very, very blackberry. Apple is almost lost. But skins persist. Oak astringency. Quite tasty stuff.

500 cc bottle from Tavour. Pours ruddy purple with a transient, slight pinkish head. Aroma of blueberry jam and lavender. Near med body. It's kind of tart/sweet - so still kind of blueberry jam - plus lavender. The sugar is kind of grape. So this is both simple and complicated. Fairly tasty cider. The process of innovation clearly continues. I like it.

On tap at Schilling Cider House - Seattle, pours a deep dark mahogany, no head. Nose is full of dark blackberries, stewed berries, and brandy. Flavour is intensely decadent, with lots of pithy blackberries, apple brandy, and brown sugar. Not actually that sweet, nor boozy, just elegant. Very nice.

Waxed, corked 375 from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear amber with a few bubbles. Aroma is dryish, winey with touches of wood and cinnamon. Med body. It is not dry, but not close to sticky. There is heat! Flavor is a bit cinnamon apple with wood and wine. In the finish appleskin stands out. Quite toothsome.

Soft brownish body with little head, aroma is soft berry with little apple. Flavour is a good berry balance, some malt it seems. Full mouthfeel. This is decent but comes off as a little fake though.

Nice pink body and a bit of foam, floral rosé wine on the nose which is very nice. Flavour is soft fruit cider with apple hints. Nice level of carbonation. I'd call this a sleeper hit, just good easy drinking.

Bomber from The Davis Food Co-op. Pours cranberry juice color with a pink, transient head. Aroma is cider with black currant - my nose isn't picking up cranberry. Med minus body. Flavor is tart cranberry, apple skin and black currant. It's tart, but the currants add some offsetting sweetness. Decent, drinkable.
